Clean slugs, a list at a time

Paste one headline or thirty. Accents folded, apostrophes handled, stop words optional. Nothing leaves your browser.

One per line. Everything happens in your browser.

Example output for the three placeholders

  • The Best CRM for Small Teams in 2026

    • There is a long number in here. If that is a year or an ID, remember the URL should outlive it — you cannot change it later without a redirect.
    • Starts with an article. Dropping it usually reads better.

  • Men’s Shorts — Which Length?

Pick a convention once

The reason this takes a list rather than one line: nobody has one slug problem. They have nine pages to publish, and doing them one at a time over three weeks is how a site ends up with /about-us, /our_team and /Contact — three conventions, none of them wrong on its own, all of them wrong together.

Two rules that never cost anything:

  • Lowercase. Some servers treat /About and /about as different pages, which is a duplicate-content problem you created by capitalising a letter.
  • Decide it is permanent. Changing a URL later means a redirect, and a redirect you will still be maintaining in four years.
