FAQ
Questions
- What is AI prompt research?
- Finding the questions buyers put to AI assistants, rather than the few words they type into Google. Research turns a keyword or a page into 12 of them, each tagged with its intent — the best one, a comparison, a price, a place, reviews.
- How is a prompt different from a keyword?
- A keyword is a few words in a search box. A prompt is the whole question, often with the buyer's situation in it: “pediatric dentist or family dentist for a five year old”. An assistant answers the question, so the question is what to track.
- Where do the prompts come from?
- They are written from your keyword, or from the page you give — read by PassciteBot within its robots.txt — as a buyer would ask before knowing who wrote the page, in your market's language.
- Can I research a competitor's page?
- Yes. Give Research any page's address, and it writes the prompts a buyer would ask that the page answers.
- Do I need Search Console?
- Only for Your Google demand. Research works from a keyword or a page alone.
- What does it cost?
- Research is 1 credit, and it comes back when it finds no prompts. Your Google demand costs nothing. A prompt you track is a credit a prompt each time a report asks it.
- How many prompts can I track?
- Up to 200 a brand. The first report starts with 10, suggested from your site; tag prompts to put only some of them on a schedule.
- Why no search volumes?
- They need a keyword data source we do not buy yet. Research gives a prompt's intent, not its volume.
