Sign-in

What it can do, before you allow it

Each assistant asks once, on a Passcite page that says what it can and can't do, and which site is asking.

Reports and articles

The price first, then your yes

Ask for a report or an article and it tells you the credits and what you will have left. Nothing starts until you agree, and one yes is never charged twice.

Five jobs it already knows

Weekly check
Which brands moved since their last report, on which engine, and the next step for each.
Explain an answer
Why an AI engine names a competitor instead of the brand for a prompt: what the answer says, the pages it cites, and what the brand's site lacks.
Gaps to work
The prompts a brand loses, turned into tasks, and an article drafted for the biggest gap once its credits are agreed.
Did it work
Whether the work changed AI answers: live articles before and after (Proof), outreach pages that now name the brand, and finished tasks.
Client note
The analyst note for a brand's client report, from that edition's own numbers and in the client's language.
FAQ

Questions

What is an MCP server?
MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the open standard Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor use to reach outside tools. Passcite's server lets your assistant read your AI visibility data and work on it, in the chat you already use.
Which assistants can connect?
Claude (custom connectors; its Free plan allows one), ChatGPT (Plugins, then Add custom MCP server), Cursor, Claude Code, and any client that speaks MCP over HTTP with sign-in. The address is https://passcite.com/api/mcp.
Do I need an API key?
No. Your assistant opens Passcite's sign-in, you allow it on one page, and it gets its own access: nothing to paste into a settings file or rotate.
What can it do?
Read every brand's visibility, prompts and answers, the pages AI cites, site health, tasks, articles and their Proof, and client reports — and on the paid plans, prospects and outreach. It can also track a prompt, add and move tasks, run a report, and draft an article from a task.
What can't it do?
Publish or take down pages, send anything to anyone, buy a plan or credits, or delete. Search Console, Google Analytics and indexing data stay in Passcite. Approving, publishing and sending happen in Passcite, by you.
What does it cost?
It comes with every plan, the free one included, and reading costs nothing. A report costs what it does in Passcite — 1 credit a prompt on the three standard engines — and an article 10, each quoted before it starts. A free account starts with 10 credits; your assistant's own plan pays for the model.
Are the numbers the same as in Passcite?
Yes. The server works them out the way Passcite's pages do, so visibility, the change since the last report and the next steps match what you see there. Your assistant is told to use only those numbers, each with its date and engine.
Is it secure?
You sign in to Passcite in your browser and allow each assistant on its own; you see which site is asking before you do. An assistant's access lasts 60 minutes at a time and renews only while it stays connected, it only ever sees your own account, and Disconnect in Settings ends it at once.
Can it publish to my client's site?
No. An article it starts lands in Passcite as a draft for you to review, and publishing to WordPress or Webflow happens there, after you approve it.
Does it work across all my clients?
Yes. It starts from your whole list: each brand's visibility now and since its last report, its open tasks and its next scheduled report. That is what the weekly check is built on.
