FAQ

Questions

Can you promise the answer will change?
No, and nobody can. Proof is how you find out — including when nothing moved.
When does Proof run?
A week after the page shows up on the site — we look for it for up to 14 days — or after the day it was published, when the site cannot be read.
How do you know a change is real?
An answer that changed is asked twice more on its engine, and a third time if those two disagree; a change that does not hold is not counted. A Proof re-asks up to four times — new mentions before lost ones — at no extra credit, and marks any change past that as not re-checked.
What if an answer changes by chance?
It can: an engine asked the same prompt twice often answers differently. An answer that changed is asked twice more on its engine, and a third time if those two disagree; a change that does not hold is not counted. A Proof re-asks up to four times — new mentions before lost ones — at no extra credit, and marks any change past that as not re-checked. Proof shows what changed, not what caused it.
Why only the article's prompts?
They are the ones the page was written to win. The rest of the brand's prompts are what its next report is for.
What does it cost?
A credit a prompt on ChatGPT, Claude and Google AI Mode, up to 5 prompts an article. Asking a change again costs nothing.
What if Google has not indexed the page?
Proof runs on its day all the same, and says whether Google had the page then. If Google adds it later, you can ask its prompts again from the article, at the same cost.
Does it work for pages I publish myself?
Yes. Paste the article in yourself and tell us the address; it is dated from the day it shows up on the site.
