Best AI visibility tools that publish the fix
Foliora is the only tool here running the whole loop today — research, draft, approve, publish, verify — at $49.99 per site per month, publishing into Shopify, WordPress, Webflow and GitHub pull requests. Rank Prompt asks the most engines and is the better fit for an agency, but keeps article approvals on its $239.17 tier. Geoa is the cheapest that publishes; whether a fix waits for approval is something we could not confirm — ask them. overrank publishes a post a day per client and, on the default setting, nobody reviews it. Passcite asks all three engines on a free report and names the competitor that won each buyer question, but publishes nothing yet, so it does not belong at the top of this particular list.
How we ranked these
These 6 criteria were fixed before the tools were scored, and the scoring is checked against them — a tool cannot be given a mark on a criterion that is not on this list, and cannot skip one. That is the whole difference between this page and the others answering the same question.
- 01
Engines asked
An answer that only ChatGPT gives is not a market. The count is not a score in itself — asking three well beats asking six badly — but a tool that reads one engine is measuring one engine's mood.
- 02
Buyer questions, named losers
Tracking whether your brand is mentioned tells you a number. Asking the 30 questions your buyer actually types, and recording which competitor won each one, tells you what to write. These are different instruments and most tools sell the first as the second.
- 03
Writes into the site
The question this page answers. A recommendation you have to implement yourself is a report, and reports are the thing everyone already has too many of.
- 04
A person approves first
Automated publishing on a client site is the risk agencies report most in this category. Whether a human sees the draft is the difference between a tool you can put on a client's site and one you cannot.
- 05
Re-asks after publishing
Nobody in this category has published a before-and-after on their own product. Assistant answers drift on their own, so a tool that re-asks the same questions after a change is the only one whose claims can be checked at all.
- 06
What you are billed per
Credits, articles, tasks and seats all sound like prices and behave differently at the end of the month. The unit decides whether you can quote a client a number before you start.
The ranking
- 1
Foliora
$49.99 / site / month, or $149.99 for the weekly cycle
A per-site improvement loop — research, prepared drafts, your approval, publishing, then live verification with what they call evidence receipts.
- Engines askedPartly
ChatGPT and Gemini. No Perplexity, which is the engine that cites most freely and is often where a small site first appears.
- Buyer questions, named losersYes
Buyer-question checks are part of the cycle, alongside competitor and citation-source review with the answer transcripts attached.
- Writes into the siteYes
Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, GitHub pull requests, and through your own agent over MCP. The widest set on this list.
- A person approves firstYes
Publishing happens after you approve a prepared change, on both plans rather than on the expensive one.
- Re-asks after publishingYes
Live verification after publishing, with the evidence kept. This is the part almost nobody else ships.
- What you are billed perYes
Per website, per month, with the cadence as the plan difference. No credits and no article count.
Where Foliora wins- The only complete loop on this list that works today: approve, publish, verify, with the evidence kept.
- Four publishing targets plus MCP, so it fits a Webflow site and a GitHub-hosted one, not just WordPress.
- Approval is on the cheap plan, not held back as an enterprise feature.
- The weekly cycle is a real option for a site that changes often, and the price is the same per site either way.
- 2
Rank Prompt
$39.17 / $71.25 / $119.17 / $239.17 a month billed annually, by credits
Answer-engine tracking with content generation on top, built around brands rather than sites, with the agency features on the upper two tiers.
- Engines askedYes
ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Claude and Google AI Overviews — the widest coverage of anything here.
- Buyer questions, named losersPartly
Prompt tracking with share-of-answer and citation counts. It measures whether you are mentioned rather than which buyer question you lost and to whom.
- Writes into the siteYes
WordPress and GitHub pull requests, plus a hosted blog. Not Shopify.
- A person approves firstPartly
Article reviews and client approvals appear only on Agency Plus at $239.17. Every tier below publishes without them.
- Re-asks after publishingYes
It is a tracker first, so the re-measurement is continuous by design rather than tied to a publish.
- What you are billed perPartly
Credits — 1,000 a month on the Agency plan, where a prompt and an article both spend them. The headline 500 brands is a ceiling, not an allowance.
Where Rank Prompt wins- Six engines, including Grok and Claude, which nothing else on this list asks.
- A free tier that gives a prospect a full report with no card, which is a working prospecting tool on its own.
- White-label reports, a client portal link per brand and your own sending domain from $119.17.
- A documented API with a real request allowance, and 157 pages of public docs behind it.
- 3
Geoa
DKK 299 / 799 / 1,499 a month, excluding VAT
A Nordic small-business product that monitors a set of AI questions and applies fixes to the site itself.
- Engines askedPartly
ChatGPT and Google AI on the entry plan; Perplexity and Copilot from the middle plan up.
- Buyer questions, named losersYes
25, 100 or 300 questions monitored by plan, with competitor monitoring from the middle tier.
- Writes into the siteYes
Shopify and WordPress/WooCommerce, with Wix, PrestaShop and Shopware listed as coming.
- A person approves firstNo
Their pricing page lists auto-fix among the features of all three plans. Our own note from 2026-09-10 recorded fixes waiting for your approval, with one-click undo. We have not tested the product, so we cannot say which of those governs today — confirm it with them before putting it on a client's site.
- Re-asks after publishingYes
Weekly re-scan on the entry plan, daily above it — on a calendar rather than triggered by a publish.
- What you are billed perPartly
Per site, but metered by how many questions are monitored, so the plan you need is set by breadth rather than by site count.
Where Geoa wins- The cheapest entry point here that actually writes to a site.
- Daily re-scanning from the middle plan, which nothing else offers at that price.
- Reputation monitoring — Google reviews and Trustpilot — on the top plan, which matters in exactly the local categories where directories win.
- Built and supported in Danish for a market the English-language tools are not serving.
- 4
overrank
$25 a month self-serve, or from $29 per client seat for agencies, five seats minimum
A daily-article engine: it researches, writes and publishes one SEO post per client site per day, on autopilot.
- Engines askedNo
It optimises for Google and says posts can show up in AI Overviews. It does not ask assistants what they answer, so there is no engine reading to report.
- Buyer questions, named losersNo
Keyword research, not buyer questions, and no named competitor per question — the output is an article calendar.
- Writes into the siteYes
Every day, to the client's own domain under their brand. This is the entire product and it works.
- A person approves firstPartly
A per-client Auto-publish switch, on by default; turned off it holds articles as drafts for review. There is no per-item approve or reject and no rollback — it is one switch for the whole client, and their agency page sells leaving it on: no writers, no calendars, nothing to manage.
- Re-asks after publishingNo
The monthly report counts articles published, keywords ranking and organic clicks. None of those is the same question re-asked.
- What you are billed perYes
Per client seat on a published volume table — $29 at one to nine, $24.50 at ten to twenty-four, $19.50 at twenty-five to forty-nine, $16.50 at fifty to ninety-nine — on one consolidated invoice. The clearest unit on this list. Self-serve starts at five seats, so $145 a month is the floor however few clients you have.
Where overrank wins- The cheapest per client anywhere here, by a wide margin, and cheaper still at volume.
- Fully unbranded — the client never encounters the vendor, and the monthly report carries your logo and colours.
- One consolidated invoice across the roster, which is the thing agencies complain about most in this category.
- Genuinely no work per client after setup, which is a real product and not a compromise if volume is what you are reselling.
- 5
Passcite
This is us$0 / $49 / $199 / $299 / $499 a month, per client site
A report that asks 12 buyer questions free and 30 on a paid plan, across three engines, and names the competitor that won each one.
- Engines askedYes
ChatGPT (API), Perplexity and Gemini, all three on every plan including the free one.
- Buyer questions, named losersYes
12 questions free, 30 paid, each recorded with the competitor that won it and the page of theirs that got cited. No score.
- Writes into the siteNo
Nothing yet. WordPress publishing is the next build; today every action comes with the steps to do it yourself.
- A person approves firstNo
Being built, and it is the thing we intend to be judged on — which means today it is a plan, and the four tools above are shipping product.
- Re-asks after publishingNo
Re-testing after a publish is designed and unbuilt. Foliora verifies live today; we do not.
- What you are billed perYes
Per client site. No credits, no per-article price, no task quota — one site is one number you can quote a client.
Where we lose- Publishing: Foliora, Rank Prompt, Geoa and overrank all write to a site today. We do not write anything.
- Approval before publish: the thing we mean to be best at is the thing we have not shipped, and Foliora ships it on its cheapest plan.
- Re-testing: Foliora verifies live after a change and keeps the evidence. Ours is a design.
- Engine breadth for tracking: Rank Prompt asks six engines including Grok and Claude. We ask three.
- Per-client price for an agency: overrank charges by the seat on a published volume table — $29 at one to nine clients, $24.50 at ten to twenty-four, down to $16.50 at fifty. Fifteen clients is $367.50 there. Our agency plan works out at about $13 a site at fifteen sites, but only for a report — theirs includes publishing.
Where we are strong- All three engines on the free report, where most free tiers give you one engine or a score.
- Every question records the competitor that won it and the page of theirs that was cited, rather than a visibility number.
- 11 free tools with no account and no email wall, including the checks that decide whether an engine can read the site at all.
- Priced per client site with no credits and no article quota, so an agency can quote a client before the work starts.
What this page leaves out, and why
A ranking that quietly omits a tool is doing the same thing as a ranking that scores itself first. Every tool we considered and did not rank is here with the reason.
ChatSEO
It belongs on this list — it writes to WordPress, Shopify and Webflow over MCP. We could not reach chatseo.com to check its current plans on the date below, and we will not rank a tool from our 2026-09-10 reading of its pricing. Worth checking yourself.
Checked 2026-09-15
Profound, Peec, Otterly, Scrunch
Trackers. They measure answer-engine visibility, often very well, and none of them publishes anything, so they answer a different question than this page asks.
Checked 2026-09-15
SEOBOT, Outrank
Article volume without a visibility diagnosis. They belong on a page about content production rather than one about why a site is not being recommended.
Checked 2026-09-15
Semrush, Ahrefs
Platforms with AI-visibility features attached. If you already pay for one, look at what it includes before paying anyone on this list.
Checked 2026-09-15
Rows were last read on 2026-09-21. Prices in this category move quickly — each tool carries its own date above, so a stale row is visibly stale rather than quietly wrong. If one of these is out of date, tell us and we will re-check it.
