Passcite vs Foliora
What Foliora is
Foliora runs the whole improvement loop on one site: it researches the buyer questions, prepares the change, waits for you to approve it, publishes it into Shopify, WordPress, Webflow or a GitHub pull request, and then verifies live that it went out — keeping what they call evidence receipts. Approval is on the cheap plan rather than held back, and the weekly cycle is a real option for a site that changes often. Nothing else in this category ships the whole loop.

Where Foliora is stronger
- The complete loop works today: approve, publish, verify, with the evidence kept. We publish nothing yet, and the re-test is a design.
- Four publishing targets plus MCP, so a Webflow site or a GitHub-hosted one is covered, not just WordPress.
- Approval sits on the $49.99 plan, not behind an agency tier — the thing we intend to be judged on, shipped, on their cheapest option.
- Live verification after publishing is the part almost nobody in this category ships at all.
- The weekly cycle at $149.99 is a genuine option for a site that changes often, and the per-site price is the same either way.
Different, which is not the same as better
- Priced per portfolio, not per site. 15 client sites for $199 a month, 25 for $299, 50 for $499.
- Three engines on every report — ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. Theirs is ChatGPT and Gemini; Perplexity is the one that cites most freely and is often where a small site first appears.
- The report goes out under your name and mark on a paid plan, at a private link your client opens with no login. Nothing of ours appears on it.
- The action list is split in two: what we would publish for you after your approval, and what only the business itself can do — a claimed listing, a verified profile, a review. The second column is the half a fully automated tool has nowhere to put.
- A free report with no card: 12 buyer questions across all three engines, naming the competitor that won each one.
Which one you want
Pick Foliora
You have one site, or a handful you own, and you want changes actually published and verified this week. That loop runs there today and does not run here.
Pick Passcite
You run a roster of client sites, the per-site bill is the problem, and what you need first is a report you can put your own name on and send to the client.
Run both
Rarely worth it. They overlap on the diagnosis and differ on everything after it, so the honest split is per-site depth against per-portfolio price.
We would rather you read that table and conclude you do not need us than have you pay for a month and work it out then. The free report settles it in about two minutes and costs nothing.

More comparisons
- Passcite vs SemrushA large SEO platform and a small AI-answer tool. Different jobs, and most agencies running Semrush should keep running it.
- Passcite vs AhrefsThe strongest backlink dataset in the industry versus a tool about what assistants answer. Very little overlap.
- Passcite vs Surfer SEOAn on-page optimisation tool for writers versus a diagnosis of what assistants answer. They are compatible, and the philosophies differ.
- Skip the comparison, run the reportBuyer questions on one client site. It answers the question better than any page about a competitor can.
